1. Scope of Application
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern all orders placed by private customers via the BOOP! online shop, operated by La Meute SA.
BOOP! products are exclusively intended for the feeding of dogs and cats and are not intended for human consumption.
The delivery area is limited to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Any order implies full acceptance of these GTC.
2. Customer Account and Registration
To place an order, the customer may be required to create a user account by providing accurate and complete information. The customer is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activities carried out from their account.
BOOP! may send communications related to orders as well as information about its products or news. The customer can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
3. Products and Animal Food Safety
BOOP! offers fresh or raw food intended for pets. Some nutritional information and general recommendations may be developed with the support of specialists in the field of animal nutrition. They aim to assist owners in their overall understanding of the principles of raw and fresh feeding.
This information is provided for educational and general purposes. It does not constitute a diagnosis, a therapeutic prescription, or individual veterinary advice.
Each animal has specific needs related to its age, breed, activity level, or health status, and it is the owner's responsibility to consult a veterinarian or qualified professional for any individual situation.
Raw products must be handled and stored in accordance with usual hygiene rules and in accordance with the instructions on the packaging.
4. Proper use of BOOP! products!
BOOP! products must be used exclusively for the feeding of dogs and cats and in accordance with the recommendations provided by the brand.
The customer agrees to: - adhere to the storage and handling instructions; - adjust the quantities to the specific needs of their animal; - introduce any new food gradually; - observe their animal's individual reactions.
Any inappropriate use, including inadequate storage or prolonged disruption of the cold chain after delivery, is the responsibility of the customer.
5. Natural variability of raw products
As BOOP! products are made from animal-derived ingredients, natural variations may occur, particularly in terms of colour, texture, visual appearance, slight odour, or weight.
These variations do not constitute a defect as long as the sanitary quality of the product is ensured.
6. Order and conclusion of the contract
The order is placed exclusively online. The contract is concluded at the moment of the order confirmation sent electronically.
BOOP! reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order, particularly in the event of product unavailability or incorrect information provided by the customer.
Available quantities may vary depending on production and supply.
7. Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT.
As some products are sold by weight, the final amount may vary slightly depending on the actual weight delivered.
Accepted payment methods are indicated at the time of ordering.
8. Delivery, cold chain and transfer of responsibility
BOOP! products are delivered under conditions aimed at preserving their quality until handed over to the customer.
The transfer of risk occurs upon delivery of the goods to the customer or upon their deposit at the specified address when this option is accepted at the time of ordering.
Upon receipt or deposit, the customer is responsible for placing the products in a compliant refrigerated or frozen environment.
BOOP! disclaims any responsibility for product alteration resulting from inadequate storage or a break in the cold chain after delivery.
9. Complaints – Perishable products
Any complaint regarding a product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographs and the necessary information for assessing the case.
For health reasons, perishable products are generally not returnable. BOOP! may offer a replacement, a credit note, or a refund depending on the situation.
10. Limitation of liability
BOOP! pays particular attention to the quality of its products. Within the limits permitted by Swiss law, BOOP!'s liability is limited to direct damages resulting from proven fault related to the delivered product.
Any liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded.
BOOP! does not guarantee an individual result related to the feeding of an animal. BOOP!'s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product in question, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
11. Intellectual property
The content, texts, images, and visual elements related to BOOP! are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without prior written permission.
12. Data protection
BOOP! processes personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss legislation. Communications related to products or the brand may be sent, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
13. Final provisions
BOOP! reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of the order.
Swiss law applies. The legal jurisdiction is that of the registered office of La Meute SA, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
